Sonia Bize is a French harpist, pianist, producer and teacher, and Director of Music at Etymology Classics. Her work moves between solo and chamber performance, orchestral playing and studio production, including electronic music released as Hippo Dreams.
She trained at the Paris Conservatory, the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg and Manhattan School of Music. A prizewinner at the Nippon International Harp Competition and the Rencontres Internationales de la Harpe, she has performed with the Paris Opera orchestra and appeared as solo harpist in the world premiere of Magdalene at New York’s Prototype Festival.
