Quodlibet Winds is a New York ensemble devoted to historical wind instruments and overlooked chamber repertoire. Flute, clarinet, natural horn and bassoon bring distinct colours to music recovered from archives and early editions. Its Etymology Classics recording Trésors Oubliés explores wind quartets by François-René Gebauer, André-Frédéric Eler and Vincenzo Gambaro, offering a fresh perspective on the chamber music of early nineteenth-century Paris.
