Duo Multicorde brings together harpist Maria-Theresa Freibott and guitarist Andrés Madariaga. Formed during their studies at Salzburg’s Mozarteum, the ensemble developed its chamber work with Stephen Fitzpatrick. Alongside concerts in Europe and Asia, the duo creates arrangements that explore the shared resonance and contrasting colours of harp and guitar. Its relationship with Etymology Classics includes recording sessions at the label’s New York studio and releases of repertoire by Debussy and Grieg.
